What are you thoughts on this new morph. I saw some in the classifeds last month. I think they are strange.

I saw a few this past weekend at the sandfire table in white plains. Very cool dragons. The most striking thing about them are the eyes. They are as black is it gets.

IMHO...They look scary and sickly. Looks more like a mutation then a morph.

I was at the White Plains NY show as well, and saw these transparent dragons there. I was not impressed at all. I actually felt a bit uneasy with it. What exactly are we doing? What are we striving for? Weaker, weirder oddities, or stronger, healthier dragons? I read that bit on the classifieds as well. How upsetting was that?? A weaker dragon, does not seem to grow as well as others, cannot be kept under uvb or bright lighting, and costing more money?? Dragons now that can't survive, or don't thrive in uv lighting. Hmm maybe perfect for some. I personally like the larger ones, that thrive best under normal husbandry & uva/uvb lighting, and that I can bring outside to bask and enjoy the natural sunlight with me.

Mystical Dragons

Will have to agree with this. Though dragons can be kept without UVB lighting with the proper supplimentation of Calcium with D3, I would rather not have one that is sickly, weak, prone to die should the sun shine on them etc. I rather have a plain normal phase dragon that is robust, healthy, eating well etc than a freak that lets me watch the cricket going through the phases between consumption and digestion to passing out of the body.
