Largest - andean or black milks. Both regularly reach (and often exceed) 6 feet. They grow into big rat-eating snakes. An occasional honduran can get to 6 feet supposedly, but they are generally smaller. I believe the Ecuadorian milksnake (micropholis) can also get to 6 feet, but they aren't available in the pet trade.

"best" coral looking milk - this is rather subjective, but I regard Sinaloans as the most traditional "coralsnake-like" milk (slender and brightly colored). Mexican milks are close and there are other ssp that look like other species of corals as well.

There are lots of good breeders. Do a little searching on the internet. Most people only breed a few subspecies so it depends what you are looking for.

Hit this link... Pueblans stay pretty small... the largest tricolors that you're likely to find are probably Andeans. They are also very calm and hardy, can be kept at room temperature like a black milksnake. Prices are pretty reasonable, I think I've seen some Andeans in the Classifieds recently. Good luck...

According to VIVARIUM magazine vol. 7 No. 5 (Photo and text)a hoduran was imported in the 70's that was 2.4 m in length (or just shy of 8'.

Just out of curiosity, can some of you who have been in the hobby for a while tell us how big (and how old) are your largest adult triangulums?

I have a male andean present that is about six and a half foot.He is six years old and is still growing.I have never seen a honduran over six foot but I have a few that are pushing six.
