has anyone tried freezing roaches and thawing, or does insects not take well to that process?

Im fairly certain that freezing them would kill them.
I know that. freezing kills EVERYTHING.
my question was, has anyone frozen roaches and thawed them so as to feed them to something, like a water dragon or something.
or do insects fall apart when they thaw.
they sell dead crickets, why not roaches?
LOL are you sure you can't thaw them out and give them a little electric shock and bring them back to life? The crickets that you buy aren't frozen and thawed, they're either freeze dried or "cooked." I would think that freezing an insect would make it fall apart when you thawed it out or even while frozen. Some insects would probably take it better than others, like Supers would probably be better than something with legs, you know? The problem would be thawing it out it would be kinda nasty and most lizards won't eat something not moving around. They shouldn't eat something that's still cold either. Give it a shot and tell us what happens.
