I have two leopared geckos. Well, actually three, but this only involves two.
About five years ago these two were fine in the same cage, then I got a third, put it with the other two, and now just the two females get along. For about 3 years i have had the male by himself, and the two females in another.
While I was just cleaning out both cages, I let the two geckos that were once very friendly before i got the third...i let these two roam around on a blanket on the floor. They seem fine right now. So I was wondering after I clean out the 2nd cage, would i be able to put the male and the female back in the cage they were in 4-5 years ago? They seem fine as they are inches away from each other, and neither are biting.
Last time I put these two together was when I put the female in with the male just to see if they would get along...And the male kicked the females ass very hard...They fought like alligators where they twirled around and i couldnt even see what was going on....
So my question is will these two be ok if i put them in a cage after i put all new wood chips in, and the whole 'sha-bang'?
Post your thoughts here.
Thank you,
Brian
