Rack boxes big enough for a adult ball?

kyle_gecko Nov 07, 2003 03:34 AM

Is 33 1/2 x 17 1/2 x 5 1/2 a large enough box for a rack system to house a adult ball python? and what type of tank/box do people use to breed them in? What size rack system box would i need to put 2 ball pythons in for breeding?

Thanks (just starting to get in to ball pythons, so i am a newbie)

Kyle

Yeah, that'd work but it'd be bare minimum. Try going bigger if you can.

I know people that keep adults in 28qt rubbermaids, which have quite a bit less floor space than the tubs you are considering.

I think the length and width are just about perfect... but 5.5" might get tight depending on the type of substrate you will be using.

Good luck.
