how long do chams need their uvb before they've 'grown' out of their need?...

i've had a uvb on my cham who is now about 1 yo, maybe? anyway, just wondered how much longer he'll need the uvb light. he still has quite a bit of growing to do. thanks. ciao. -k

Your cham will ALWAYS need UVA/B, at least 12 hours a day. If you are lucky enough to live where your cham gets to bask outdoors in unfiltered sunlight most of the time the artificial light is not as critical. It is necessary for production of vitamins and proper regulation of calcium. It's a life long need. I hope no one told you this was temporary.
