Breeding.....Introducing the female

I put the female in with the male and it has been almost 24 hours with the male giving her not attention. SHould i take her out?

Provided you cooled them properly, etc., just leave them together as you normally would.

I never saw any of mine copulate last year and all of my females ended up gravid.

I agree, I would continue to leave the male in for a few days at a time, and hope they are copulating while you are not looking. Also I put males in with certain females, and sometimes I do not see breeding on the first attempt.
