Need Help!!

I bought my beardie about 3 weeks ago. In the last 2 weeks, he does not like to be handled. Now he's starting to try and bite me when my hand even gets close to him. All the temps inside the cage are right, he's in a big enough aquarium, and so forth. When I got him out and took him to the breeder to ask her some questions about him, he really calmed down and was docile. But after a day of being back in his cage at my house, he went nuts again. What is wrong? Does he, maybe, not like the smell in my room? Is his cage too big for him? Is the outside air maybe too cold for him? Or is it just the personality of this dragon to do this?
Please anyone, any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!! I don't know what to do with him anymore...

I had a beardie once like that. It just took time and patience to get him calmed down. I always made sure to never put my hand over him to make him think I was a predator. I'd keep my hand low and put my hand under his chin and let him crawl on. This took quite a bit of time though because he'd still be afraid.

You might make sure you wash your hands before handling him. Maybe he's smelling something on you he feels threatened by. Also instead of trying to pick him up, just put your hand at the bottom of the cage for a few minutes a few times a day. That way he just gets used to your hand coming into his environment, then after a few days try handling him again. After a while, that beardie I spoke of would come running to my hand whenever I'd put it in his cage and cling to me like velcro when I'd try to put him in.

These are really friendly little guys, just give him some time to settle in and get used to you and you'll be okay! Hope this helped some!
