one of my geckos got out and was got stuck in a sticky trap
i remember cooking oil will do a good job at getting her free but what do i use to safely remove the cooking oil.

good luck with that, it might be a good idea to have live traps if you want to catch mice, at least that way a loose leo won't be harmed.
