When I spook my geryi by walking next to his cage he will run a bit then stop and move his belly area like a snake. It's really odd to watch. I was wondering what this is and if anyone elses uros do this. I think he's just trying to act tough or scarey by moving like that.

It's generally a defense movement, trying to appear as scary as possible. The only time Mine has done that, was when I took him outside for some real sun, and when I'd walk into view, he hissed (also a first) and wiggled.

This is very normal behavior, the "uro dance" so to speak. Mine will do it if I accidentally touch their tail while they are sleeping. Sometimes when I get new ones they will do it for awhile and then when they are used to me and I am not percieved as a threat, the behavior stops. It is all part of their attempt to ward off predators, along with their ability to puff themselves up with air to look larger.
