Dont quote me on this, but i think your whites could be shedding, or stresses out, this was the case with my house gecko when i first got him. Speaking of house geckos.....GOOD LUCK trying to find yours! (as you said it was missing in you sig.) i had one about 6 months ago it escaped while in a 10 gallon quarintine tank with a mesh lid with a ROCK on top!! i have no idea how it got out, but i suspect my brother had something to do with it. anyways my point is those things are tricky, and speedy! it took me 5 months to finally catch it. no idea how it survived, probbaly eating escaped crickets ect..i felt so bad, and irrisponsible but there wasnt anything i could do to catch it. but finally i took every single thing out of the room, inspected it, and then set up a trap in the center of the room (heat lamp and crickets in a jar) the poor thing was so cold and hungry it showed up out of nowhere (its name is houdini now)then i leapt (serious stealth is required when catching those things!!!!) on it with a soft fishnet, you have to be carefull because their skin can tear easily, and they also will drop their tails. My point it THIS is why house geckos do NOT make good pets. Also sorry about the long off topic post, but i felt it was relevant because they are so common in petstores noy, and they cost uner $10 so alot of people put them in their vivarriums

What do you use to treat the water? If you use NovAqua or something else that provides a "slime coat" for fish, it will make your frog have trouble sticking to things.
