Doh! Stupid html...

Ok, so I finally got around to uploading a few pics of some of my geckos. I know, I know... the pics arent the highest quality, but neither is my camera (less than $100), but hopefully its good enough to get the point.

One of next years breeding pairs:

The male

And the female:

The colors on both of the animals are done no justice by my camera. The female is 2 years old now and she has become a ton more orange over the last 2 sheds!
Just as a question... these are not carrot-tails.. right? Someone told me the other day that if there are black dots within the orange then its just plain orange, not carrot-tail. Okay... i think its gonna work this time! (I didnt have the .jpg at the end last time)

Joe
Thanks for all your help, now I know how to do it.

Very nice leos! I don’t think they would be considered carrot tails, but probably tangerines. I really like the colors on your female!

joefro Nov 07, 2003 04:40 PM

Thanks dave!

Yeah, Im really excited to see what these two will produce next year. The male had a 1/3 regenerated tail when I got him. The funny thing is, he looks like a high yellow, and he had a lot of orange in the tail, but the part that is regrow came back lavender!! (I know its hard to see in the pic). I have a couple babies this year that were produced by that male with a different female and the babies are showing a lot of lavender coloration. Its unexpected but more than welcomed!

It would sure be cool if the male’s lavender, and the females orange would both be passed on to their babies, but I don’t know if it works like that. I’ll keep my fingers crossed for you! I can hardly wait until next breeding season; it will be a lot of fun. Keep us posted with pictures and ill try to do the same.

You were using the gallery's URL, and you need to use just the picture's URL. I explained how to find and use it here:

forums.kingsnake.com/view.php?id=238296,238331

Keep trying you were really close....

davecable Nov 07, 2003 03:28 PM

Right click the picture once it is uploaded to the gallery, and go to properties. Highlight the Address field, and press Ctrl c to copy the Address/url. Then in your post, open the img tag, press Ctrl v (to paste) and then close the img tag. hope this helps!
