I feed the left over repcal pellets to crickets. They love it. Once, when I put some crickets in my beardies tank, a cricket ran over to the feeding dish, grabbed a pellet, and starting walking around with it. When my bearded ate the cricket, it also ate the pellet that the cricket was holding. It was the funniest thing I ever saw. Say, that might be a good way to get your beardie to eat pellets!

Yes that would be good. Old/extra greens can also be fed to the crickets (they love those too).

I would not fed day old greens that have been under heat lamps and the celluar makeup is breaking down and perhaps spoiling. Remember, anything you feed them is the same as your beardie eating them when they eat the crickets, bacteria and all.

Dog food.... NO, it contains too much animal fats and neither the crickets or the bearides can digest them as on ongoing diet.

There is one animals pet food called AD that can be used for a short time on sick dragons, but that is limited also.
