I just bought a trio of tokay geckos and i was wondering if im taking care of them correctly. 40 breeder, hot spot 94, rest o cage mid-high 70's, plenty -o- foilage, spray em down 2wice a day, crickets, supers, waxies, pinks,??????? That and i was wondering when the breeding season is. Any special things you need to do to get em goin? cooling period? etc. that and what is the best way to find the eggs? dont they stick em to the glass/leaves. thanks....-ben

Tokays would be much better, especially three, in a much bigger tank. I use a 120 which the real experts say is too small so early next year I'm going to build a 2 ft high extension to sit on top. They really need height. Everything else bout your set up sounds ok. Be sure there is plenty of hiding spots and verticle things to climb on. I dont think their is a breeding season in captivity, it will just happen when their ready and they can breed year round. Mine have been laying eggs non stop since last december.

they lay two at a time, a clutch. And they do almost always glue them to something and you cant remove them.
