There are no cheap places online to purchase childrens pythons. If you get a cheap price, then let me assure you that they are non-feeders. I got 3 about 12 weeks ago & still can not get them to eat. I've tried everything from lizards, pinkies(live & F/T), lizard scented pinkies, and pumping them. I've already lost 2 of them and am worried about the last one. It would be much cheaper for you to pay a higher price for a guaranteed feeder. The best place I can recommend would be the Python Classifieds at Kingsnakes classified forum. You can e-mail the owner for all the info you need on this species, as well as find out when they were fed last, what they ate, etc.
Hope this helps you. Dish out the money for a feeder. It'll pay off in the end. A dead snake is not worth paying even a cheap price for.

I second that. I've had these in the past and bought guaranteed feeders from VPI. Even though they were feeders I had to force feed one of them. He eventually died, so even from a reputable breeder there's still no guarantee on these little guys eating. Too bad...they're such cool little snakes.
