Azureus pic

Here is a shot of one of my azureus on a brom. It was taken by my Powershot A50, with no enhancements. Any suggestions on how I can clean the pic up a bit? The glass had a bit of condensation, and I'd like to cut out the background. I'm using Paint Shop Pro. Thanks!

Paint shop pro may not offer all of the features you will need, you might want to look into photoshop elements, I think you can find it for about $50. Also if you get closer to the glass and clean it, it will help a ton. I wipe my glass down every day, and it makes it a lot better to take pictures through. Also taking a picture through condenstation will never produce a nice clear picture.

I think it turned out fairly good considering the circumstances. It was just before I did the daily maintenance, and I was worried that sticking my hand in the tank would disturb the frog from his pose. It's only a 1.2 megapixel camera, after all. Paint Shop Pro is a pretty beefy graphics editing program. It's not quite as good as full blown Photoshop, but at $100, it's about 1/5th the price. I'm sure it would have any elements that I need. Still, I think I have a copy of Photoshop Elements around here from when I bought my scanner. What tools would I need?

The biggest one, if I remember right, is the unsharpen mask, which is by far the best sharpening tool. As far as I know no other program offers anything close to it. The way I understand it Elements offers most of the main tools in photoshop, and should be enough. I have not used it in years, so I can not say for sure.

Here is a good site for with some photoshop tutorials:
