BrianK Nov 07, 2003 07:35 PM

This is Annie, we bought her from a pet store, they said he was a female, but now he is a she...

Another picture of the he she...(annie)

This is Spot. He is a big boy, about 6-7 years old.

This is Annie and the rarely seen Sassy (AKA: Little Thumper). She is about 6 years old, and her tail got bitten off twice! She remains to be the little baby. I dont know why she never grows, but she eats like a cow!

Nice pictures, but one looks kind of skinny, and another one looks like it has skin attach to its toes. This is not good because the skin can tighten and cause the toes to fall off. To get rid of this I soak my geckos in warm water. Make sure the water height should only should cover their feet. Then you could gently rub it off.

yeah...the little one eats so much and wont grow, she is 6-7 years old too...She eats the most out of everyone.

Ill soak the guys and girls under warm water, thanks

Those bark chips can wreak some havoc on their insides if they ingest them. There was an article on reptile health problems a few years back in Reptiles that had a necropsy picture from a leopard gecko impacted on that stuff; pretty sad. There are a lot of better substrates than that you can buy that look just as good (CalciSand is NOT one of them, though).

Your geckos do look a little thin, and as alebron mentioned, they need the skin removed from their toes. Here are some InstructionsI made a few years ago on how I remove unshed skin. Their toes will fall off if you don't keep up on this. Do you have a humid hide?
