My case for a skink.....

LizardLuva Nov 07, 2003 08:10 PM

hi im a expierenced herper 13 year old hoping to get some lizards. I have decided to get a pair of leopard geckoes and i was looking for something more active during the day. I stumbled across skinks. I was wondering of a skink to buy thats under 50$ maximum, and can be kept in a relatively small cage. But i do not want a skink thats under 6 in long. If its handelble that is definitly a very good bonus thanks everyone!

Fire skinks seem to fit the bill to me, although I'd probably keep one in a 20 long minimum. I'm also not sure all of them are handleable. The good news is that they're a petstore staple, so you might be able to meet one in person before you buy it.
They're very cute.

Peter: It's OK, I'll handle it. I read a book about something like this.
Brian: Are you sure it was a book? Are you sure it wasn't NOTHING?
