There are plenty of people hoping that it will work!
Seriously though, there are double hets out there, but no visuals as yet. Maybe next year or the following one we'll be lucky enough to finally see one of these 1/16 enigmas.
Double hets were produced by cypress creek (Tom Carlton) and I think VPI snagged them. ($25,000) for the pair if I'm not mistaken!!

It probly could happen, but I highly doubt it'll look anywhere near as good as the original pied. What will there be to see? A few yellow stains here and there? You might come close to looking like a snow, but way more expensive.
I don't really see it going anywhere.

I agree, but a caramel albino pied might be worth looking into. Caramel Creams?

working on this project
I think Ralph Davis was offering them. At least I remember reading something about them on his web site.
I've produced DH for both Lavender Albino Pied and reg. Albino Pied..............I think they will look awesome!!...........The homo Lavender Pied will be really cool..........neon orange and bright yellow bordered in lavender.............splashed on a pure white snake.........it will look great in a high white or a low white pied..............as for the reg. Albino Pied.............that will not be as pretty as a Lav Pied only because the Lav Pied will not fade ( ever ) and the lavender color meeting the pied white will always set the two colors apart...........Lavender Albino ball pythons only get better with age.........
I think either one, when produced, will make everyone very happy..........I can't wait to hatch both types!

albino pieds wont be as big a disappointment as the snows were!

of us that don't have any. I have to guess your in this large crowd.
I think an albino pied will be very disappointing. What makes the pied such an incredible morph is the contrast, that will be all but lost when mixed with an albino. You`ll get an albino with a few white blotches or a high white albino that has some yellow blotches.Neither will look as good as the original pied. I think there are way cooler things to mix the albino ball with such as genetic stripes, clowns, and BHB pinstripes to name a few.I think you`d be crazy to spend big bucks chasing this double recessive project, but everyone has their individual likes and dislikes.
