she layed 8 eggs so far today and buried them. i took her back to the vet and he gave us 5 doses of oxitosin and some liquid calcium. we gave her one dose this afternoon and tonight she is certainly more active. she is pissed at me now that i gave her meds to her. lol she still has a long way to go though. i've taken her and her nesting tub out of her cage and put it into another 18 gallon tub.

How often are you supposed to give her oxytocin? Dang. I wish my vet would give me some to take home. She just charges me $40 every time I need it and half the time it doesn't work.

i have to give it to her 2 times today and 2 times tomorrow. my wife works at the same vet so it hasn't gotten real expensive yet.

That would be nice. I'm friends with a horse vet, but he admittedly knows little about chameleons. He helped me get a few hard to find things for my chameleons though. Are you giving the shots or is your wife?

both of us are giving the shots one of us holds her the other gives the medication, just easier that way.
