Can O' Grasshoppers and crickets?

is it alright for the tegus to eat these as a adative to their diet? just saw them at my work place and got curiouse!

I am not familiar with this brand, but if it is the freeze dried or preserved dead insects I would stay away from it. It is hard to determine how long they have been dead and generally they have much less nutritional value compared with live insects. Certain circumstances may warrant their use but if you have access to live insects, mice, high quality dog food, or fresh meats then they are a much better choice. I always wondered if the crickets were killed then packaged or if they die and then are packaged.........
