I've been trying to make a coconut hut and it seems impossible. I can't seem to make it the perfect shape and it usually cracks in some point while i make it. What is the secret?

This is how I did mine.

1) Buy a coconut and drill a hole in the center, drain the juice and mix with white rum, crushed ice and pineapple juice.

Proceed with caution

2) Cut coconut in half with a saw and remove the flesh.

3) Using a “saw” drill-bit cut out a door.

You’re done in 5 minutes and things feel fine

I get a coconut and make a small hole in each end for the juice to drain, and in the center use a circle drill bit (2" to make a hole, then use a circular saw to cut the coconut in half. Cut so half of the 2 inch circle makes the door on each hut

I followed step 1), then went down the street (1 block) and bought a finished hut, returned, did step 1) again and forgot about the hut. All worjed otu fnie!!!

You could just go down to your local "good" pet store and buy one. We carry them for $1.98. Seems less than the trouble you've already gone through.

...but not as much fun.
