Brine shrimp as food source

wamacd Nov 08, 2003 10:07 AM

Has anyone tried using brine shrimp to feed their tads? When raising newts these little guys are a staple. Is there any reason not to use them with darts?

The included pic is of an Azureus tad which hatched yesterday.

Hi,

While there is nothing wrong with using brine shrimp as a suppliment for tads you would do better to buy a vial of eds fly meat tadpole powder and ust feed them that. Tinc class frog tadpoles cannot seem to catch the live foods very well because most are primarilly herbivores.
