Santa Cruze Island Gopher,(Pituophis catennifer pumilus)you win! It is a relatively unfair quize as adult size, scale and saddle counts, and range are diagnostic for seperating this from the mainland groups. Good Job. And Mike (Birddog5151)as far as I know all four of the known Coronado Island gophers are pickled over at San Diego Nateral History Museum...If you have other info PLEASE give me a call.......LOL!!!!

Do you want more challanges?

Jason Nelson Nov 09, 2003 12:59 PM

Yeah lets have some more , I could learn a thing or too .

Thanks jason

my computer came over on the mayflower and the pictures aren't great on my computer. That's my excuse and I'm sticking to it. More, More, More...This is fun. You need to give more info to us novices why it's this snake and not the other.

Thanks,

Mike B
