Sleeping positions

Hi

We're new to this board, and have a pair of beardies probably 12-14 weeks old in a 48"x24"x24" viv. They seem quite happy, but we are particularly interested in their night-time behaviour.

One strange habit is that one of them likes to sleep hanging upright from the inside of a large piece of cork bark.

Another which seems both strange and cute is that they will form a neat stack with one on top of the other in otherwise identical positions. It's not always the same one on top - is this perhaps to preserve body heat during cool nights? (the enclosure doesn't get too cool - it has a thermostatically controlled heater which is on all the time as well as a basking spot and UV light for daytime).

We have done the rounds and not found any references to their sleeping habits anywhere.

Tim

I don't remember who it is, but it won't be long now, before we see the picture of the dragon sleeping bent backwords almost on it's back.

I write a little about sleeping habits at my site.

Look for "Sleepinghabits" in the left frameborder.

Below you see a picture of my adult male sleeping behind the radiator for nearly 2 hours..! It looked hilarious!
