nephrurus levis occidentalis

I have a female smooth knobtail gecko with eggs that are not viable as she has not been with a male. I can see the eggs. I was thinking of putting her in a tupperware with moist sand. Will this initiate laying the eggs? Any other ideas? Thanks. She has been pretty fat for a couple of weeks.- Mark

Hello, i would say it is better to give her the chance to lay the eggs (like you want to do it) because if you not will put a moist place to lay the eggs, she can get problems if she don´t find a moist place, so it´s better for the health of the gecko !

Thanks for your response. I just put my five geckos in a cage and two of them have already mad every elaborate tunnels. I thought at first it was the female laying eggs but maybe later.- mark
