I was just wondering if beardies pic one spot in the cage to go to the bathroom or do they just go all over?

As many people will say, you can't train them where to go. They'll train you where to clean up. To expand, both of mine go in kinda the same spot. Usually under their basking light. It just depends on where their butt is hanging. My larger dragon with larger 'messes' has a rock type thing that she basks on. Her butt hangs off the edge so the mess is usually in the substrate below/running down the sides. In the morning if I happen to be around while she's basking and I see her making her normal 'pre-dump' movements I can usually run and get a paper towel to put under her to catch most of it. Sometimes I just leave the paper towel where I think she's going to go. Sometimes I catch it sometimes I don't. On the other hand my little beardie basks on a half log and it almost never makes it off of it. So I can just take the log out and rinse it off. So to answer your question...It depends. Mine almost always go in the same area (not the same spot) but others will have different answers.

My beardie doesnt go in the same spot, but he does poop in the same half of the cage. He goes on the right half, close to his food dishes, sometimes inside them. he wont poop by his sleepy cave or his basking perch on top of the cave, which are on the other half.
