Is it ok to place your sterilte or rubermaid tubs directly on heat tape? Has anyone had problems doing this?

I use Flex Watt Heat Tape attached to a Dimmer. The probe of the Digital Thermomete is place directly on the heat tape or under the rubbermaid box on the heat tape, this will allow you to set the Dimmer to control the temperatures between 82F and 85f. I have never had a problem. I use a rubbermaid rack from Menards/Home Depot ( one with slats in the shelves) to place the Flex Watt/tubs on. I use Electrical tape or Flex Watt Foil Tape to attched the heat tape lenghts to the shelves. Each Lenght has its own Dimmer and is plugged into a Power Surge Strip. Consult with a retailers of Heat Tapes to research futher on safety and proper use of the different types of Heat Tapes/Dimmers available. Get as much information as possible before using the products to be safe.
