My wife has had a subscribtion to Prevention magazine for several years now. In the last issue they started running an endorsement for HSUS. If you or anyone you know subscribes to, or buys this magazine please send e-mails to this adress (prevention@rodale.com) expressing your disapproval. Also share any information you have about HSUS. We need to do what we can to keep HSUS from spreadding like a disease.

I'd recommend that people ask for their local humane organizations to be supported instead of the HSUS, as the HSUS doens't support direct rescue and runs no shelters. Some people might take that better, a little sugar with the medicine, than just being asked to not support the HSUS. Some of the local humane societies DO work with reptile rescue.
