Bearded dragon problems?

DRAGON3 Feb 08, 2003 07:00 PM

My bearded dragon looks fine and hes only 9 inches big and I'm starting to feed him the bigger crickets because he goes through the little ones like nothen. Ever since I've been feeding him a mix, small and big crickets, he ate them for about a day, but now he wont eat any crickets. Its been about two days now, he still eats greens and drinks water, whats up, is he okay.

As long as he's eating and drinking he sounds ok. Try offering crix less frequently and upping his salad intake. Be sure you're offering good rich greens and not lettuce. You might also consider varying his insect diet. He should be large enough by now to try Superworms, giant mealworms and silkworms. Variety is the spice of life. As much as I love pizza once in a while I need a burger.

Hope this helps.
