update on leo thats wasnt eating

well.. i found out a week ago that he is impacted now..i use papertowls for all my leos so he must of became impacted when he was at the pet store they aslo told me to use veggie oil they said to rub it on his lips for a week and the acids disolve the sand or whatevers in there in a week i'll post another update on him and i really hope he starts eating soon

I would just try dabbing a little bit of the oil ONE TIME instead of for a whole week.

And.. you should try asking a vet for advice instead of the petstore people. I mean, weren't they the ones who got your leo impacted?

i didnt ask the retards at the pet store i did go to a vet there the ones who told me that he was impacted

take it to the vet! if the vet feels its nessacary they can give it an enima... i know eek. I lost a leo this way though (from impaction). if the stuff is impacted to long tissue in its digestive track can be damaged and even if the impaction is cleared, the gecko can still die!

Oil doesn't dissolve sand. If he swallows enough it might help it slide through, but there's not guarantee. A vet would probably know a better method.
