is it really toxic? should i remove it from my frog tank? thanks

Yes it is toxic and yes you should most definitely remove it from your frog tanks ASAP. In fact, it is the most toxic of the common house plants. I'll post a link to my website's plant page which lists several safe plants to use and their basic care so you can match plants which are compatible with your frog. Hope this helps a bit.
