Feeding Anole

DogTennisFreak Nov 08, 2003 11:09 PM

Hey, I just got an anole yesterday. I fed it a cricket and it was sweet how it ate it and all that. Except, I had to get the cricket with a glove, and it was very difficult. Any otherways to get the crickets to the anole? I also have 23 pinheads in the cricket tank now.

I need more info in order to help you. When you say you have 24 pinheads, do you mean you have them in a cricket's seperate cage, or in the anole's cage? Also, since these are pinheads, put a bunch of them in a clear plastic cup (make sure they're dusted), and set the cup on the substrate floor. I'm telling you to do this, because pinheads can be really hard to catch once they're scattered. The cup should be transparent, because if it's all white, the anole wouldn't dare to venture it close. But if it's clear, they'll see it through, and later, they'll understand the basic idea of crawling into the cup.
