Keeping Frilled Dragons

Everlight389 Nov 08, 2003 11:09 PM

Hello,

How tame are the Frilled Dragons? Ive heard that they make great pets and are very tame, but I want to know that from someone who owns one.

They can, and often do become as tame as bearded dragons. If you buy a young frilled, you should keep handling to a minimum and give it time to settle in (out of view of people/pets) so that it begins to eat and behave regularly. If you don't it can become stressed.

Then with patience and gradually getting him/her used to you, they can become very tame. All of mine will feed right out of my hand... if I leave the cage door open, my male is tame enough (or crazy enough) to run out of his cage and eat right in the middle of the room when I'm filling his dish.
