The Golden Greek thread made me wonder if anyone has succesfully hatched a golden greek in captivity yet. Any out there? Do they look like their parents? I'm betting they have quite a bit more black as youngsters.

Mine have so far refused to lay eggs. I am pretty sure at least two of my females are old enough to breed (one is huge,) but I think the setbacks they have had health-wise have prevented any procreation.
Next year for sure!!
I havn't had mine long enough, but there is always next year. I have seen alot of breeding activity, but it has been one-sided. Homer loves his 2 ladies. They don't quit show that the fealings are shared!
