TYPE 2 IMG BALL PYTHON

BillLubak Nov 09, 2003 10:55 AM

I call this my "type 2" IMG ball python. This girl is different than the others I have in that the black pigment actually takes over the lighter pigment. She has the same black cheek patches too on each side of her head Lots of black wash going on all over. Hope to breed her to a high contrast albino in the not so distant future. Paradox???

Dirty Joe

Here is a pic of my version, "Dirty Jane". She started life very similar to Dirty Joe as aa axanthic looking baby with a very pale head. She had three very pale yellow stripes. Thats when I knew she wasn't axanthic and was something very different and bought her! I'm still trying different lights to try and get her true color. Hey Ralph, you can hang her pic in Dirty Joe's cage and see if he responds!

I finally spent decent money on an imported black and white snake and it's turning into a dark snake with lemon yellow. I guess I should have stuck to bottom feeding . I'll still be happy if she proves out though, just not as happy as if it had stayed black and white.

Here is a pic from August at right under 700 grams:

Here she is today at 1,200 grams:
