You may recall me posting about my yearling amel who never really got the hang of things. She vomitted probably 3 out of every 4 meals she ate, never graduated from day old pinks, and only had a few good sheds. I don't know why she was so weak all her life. She came from a breeder I trust and who has an excellent reputation. I just think she was one of those who wasn't really meant to make it. She had a fecal done and nothing was found, she was just a sickly girl I guess

She kept her last meal down, but died soon after, and it looks as if it may have been too much for her, because it appears to still be in her belly. She was one of the first 3 snakes I brought home, and our first loss. We'll miss her terribly.

and you are right, it might have been the stress of eating the last meal that did her in. But now she is in peace. I know that you will miss her.

I feel for you, my corns have become like my children, and I would be very sad to lose any of them. Unlike my anoles, green tree frogs and my D.Tincs I can interact with my snakes which makes me feel closer to them. But I would be sad to lose any of my animals, I like them more then people most times. Your little girl was a beauty, I'm sorry she didn't make it.
