More questions about ruby-eyed tree frogs,

HylidBoy82,

The otehr day you said that the ruby-eyed tree frogs were more rare and sought after. If this is so, how come it is being sold for cheaper than the regular RETF's?

Xtreme Reptiles is selling them (the rubies) for less because they are selling them to other breeders and have been selling for longer. However, those are the prices I paid for my Nicaraguan Red-Eyed treefrogs. In general, and it shows in the classifieds, the rubies sell for more than the regulars, but just a little bit. Also, different prices pertain to juvies, sub-adults, adults, and even different sexes, and that has to be taken into consideration.

Are the other Red eyes being sold captive bred or wild caught? You're going to pay more for a captive bred animal than a WC one.

And cheshirey is right on the money.
