new cage,breeding cage??

this is my new cage.i have some questions on how ishould set it up for breeding? it has 2 lite fixtures bilt in.i was thinking about useing a ceramic infrared heat emitter for nite & a lite bulb for day houres, both controled by a thermostat (with all i have already) ? should i use the day time bulb or should i let the sun from the window do that?(window is 12 feet away from cage) please help!!!..............thank you.....duane

The light from the window will work fine, just be careful not to let the tank receive direct sunlight or it could overheat. The light from the window will be enough to enable them to cycle / set their internal clocks. In my experience, the more brightly lit the cage, the more likely the leos are to hide. If you go for the dimmer light from the window you are more apt to see your leos out during the day.
