This is one of DVL's special order hybrids...he'd doing well for me. He was kept outside all summer, then brought in. He was never given too many dandelions outside, but now that he is inside, he has been offered them nearly on a daily basis. He loves them...doesn't matter if it is buds or blooms.

Here he is getting a soaking.

Chuckalmander I've ever seen! Very handsome. How old is he?

He's been in my care (the chuck, not dvl) since early May I think. I'm guess he is going on one year old.

..everybody knows chucks like it Wet Wet WET!!
Preferibly 4-8 Inches of water in a large cage
with little or no land area.
If you do decide to give him some land area in the cage make sure e
theres plenty of damp moss for him to lie on.
oh and don't forget to spray him several times a day. this will aid in him maintaining a healthy slime coat on his skin.

again John E KEEP up the good work!!
P.S. Just kidding!

Cage? What cage? These guys require little to no floor space...that is why I keep him in the tub of water I posted. You act like I'm stupid...I always dechlorinate too! Then add bleach to kill any remaing bacteria! LOL

Actually misting them while they are small is not a bad idea to keep them hydrated and aid in skin shedding...so I hear.
