Hi everyone, I am not sure what an amazon basin red tail is truley considered, locality wise or is it bci or bcc? Just wondering. Any further info about them would be apreciated.

the amazon basin is HUGE, it encompases portions of ecuador, peru, colombia, venezuala, brazil, suriname, guyana, and french guiana (maybe a bit of paraguay and bolivia??)... so some suriname are basin animals, as are most peruvians and ecuadorians... youll see alot of 'peruvain style' animals listed up for sale right now listed as amazon basins...to my knowlege, most of these currently are being exported out of ecuador.
most amazon basin 'surinames' are listed as such. for some reason maybe the retailers and exporters dont feel that ecuador is a 'sellable' loaclity and they label them as basins...

ignoring the green circle, the highlighted green and yellow is essentially the basin i believe.
others may have more input and be able to corect any errors i may have made, but this is how i undersand it
