It will be interesting to see what they and their offspring produce down the line. Have you seen or heard of very many Great Basins with the aberrant pattern like your female? I guess I shouldn't use the word aberrant since it means deviating from normal.

I have not seen a lot of odd patterned Great Basins but I have seen super lot of pattern and color variations in the speices even in the same areas .
Yeah I'am excited to see now the offspring turn out .

There is a locality in Colorado where the bullsnakes look a lot like that, with the almost abberant, faded looking pattern.

Hello
These snakes are Great Basin Gophers from South Willow Canyon in Tooele County Utah just west of Salt Lake City . Me and my friend do a lot road hunting out there . I have going out there for about 7 years and never seen any like these guys. My frind founds these 2 snake and it took him 4 years to put these to odd looking gophers together but I must say he was looking for different speices of snakes .
