I bought my first blood, a CB Sumatran Red male on Oct 26. He was very handleable at the show and was even warm temperature wise. But after the probing, transport, and me moving him around he had enough and gave me a couple good strikes...missed though. I left him alone for a week and got him out to feed in a separate container and clean his Rubbermaid. He ate fine but struck at me again getting him out and putting him back. I was out of town until today so he was left alone for another 10 days. I got him out to feed and clean again and he struck at me another couple of times and got me once. He's too small to hurt but I'm hoping he gets rid of this stuff over time. What have been your experiences with a grumpy little one and any taming tips would be appreciated. PS...he's an awesome little guy. Thanks.
