I dont know about those, but indoor/outdoor carpeting is supposed to work well

Ive tried just about every kind of substrate that anyone has ever suggested to me. I think they all suck. I use a very short haired carpet and Slash and i love it. He only goes to the bathroom in one spot in the enclosure so i put a piece a newpaper there, all i have to do is change that once every few days. It works out so great. I have alot of driftwood and places for Slash to hid so i dont think he has any desire to burrow. sea ya, Nick & Slash

Carpet is bad, the tiny fibers in it over time can get wrapped around toes and your baby will lose circulation and possibly even the toes.... My advice... stay away from any carpet except the green astro turf kind designed for lizard cages.

Soil, potting soil without miracle gro or the like should be ok. try fill dirt or something from a local plant nursery.

carpet fibers can also lead to digestive problems like impaction if ingested.
