Does anybody use cornplants in their terrarium? I just bought one from home depot.

Some species of Dracaena look like corn stalks, so go by the common name of "corn plant." They are often variegated. D. masseffiana is the old fashioned "corn plant" from grandma's parlor. I have found the majority of them to be much too robust and they become too large for the terrarium, growing to 3 or 4 feet. I do have one that appears to be a dwarf and has remained within bounds for some time, however, although I may eventually have to remove it. You could go ahead and try it. They will tolerate cutting back if you leave a few basal leaves. They will then form a new stalk.
