That this tortoise I rescued last year (had very soft shell and could only drag itself around with its front legs). He has hardened up well and races around the room when I let him out of his enclosure. He eats kale, romain, mixed veggies, squash, bannana and other foods like a pig. I've never owned a tortoise before but thanks to this site recieved good advice for rearing him. He meows like a cat at times and I saw a show on TV where wild breeding males make the same sound so I guess he is happy. Mike.
