DROPPING TAILS...?

buzzoff Nov 10, 2003 01:21 AM

Hi there, I'm new to the crested boards. My girlfriend is trying to hand-tame a baby (2 months old or so), and we'd like to know if there are any precautions we should take to ensure the little guy doesn't drop his tail. Are they any warning signs when he's about to do it? he got real worked up once, and it looked like the base of his tail was constricting.. We put him right back in his terrarium to calm down a bit.. Is it just a sudden thing where his tail just will fall off or what?
--Thanks
