This guy has a very black tail with creamy spaces in between the saddles. He will very likely be almost lemon-yellow as an adult. And, he is a camera hog.. a lot of little BCC hate that lens hovering over them, he poses!

.. everybody loves baby boas but boa breeders are not actually in the boa biz, we are in the BABY boa biz! And don't we all get weak in the knees over baby boas with hot red tails? I know I do.. Yet many of the features of a baby boa are lost or subdued as they mature, others may be enhanced. That's the deal with these and if you know what to look for your choice can be more educated, less reflex.

Personally I am not ever disappointed in how a boa changes or turns out, it is part of the whole package.. I mean, we aren't making toasters here!

I think we are all better served when more real information gets out about the animals.

it's hard to decide which boa to pick. I personally like to have a clue on how they will turn out as adults, looking at the parents is not always the answer. Thanks for the info , you have probably learned tons of info that the average keeper doesn't have a clue about in your years of experience. Thanks for sharing.
