Reply to UROPAT about the albinos....

Hi Uropat-

The trio of albinos that I got from Garrick over the weekend came to $170 total. That was the package deal that Garrick gave them to me for. I believe he took off a whole $30. The price was not bad at all for the geckos. It was a sale show on top of it. Plus Garrick is moving into a new house and building a new facility for all his herps so it would be alot easier for him to sell everything so he wouldn't have to move so much stuff into the new facility. Makes sense.

Prices will vary, and some breeders may or may not give you a package deal. It all depends really.

Last year when I went to the Chicago reptile show I went with $900, and I ended up spending $500 or a tad bit more. I still came home with a little left over, but I came home with some really nice geckos to.

It all depends and it all depends on the morphs that you want to get as well.

Yes save up, thats what I do. I always take a little bit more with me just to be on the safe side just in case I ever see anything else I want.
You'll have lots of fun at the show.

it is great to hear that the 3 nice looking leos like them came to about $200. I went to the same show that is in a few weeks last year and it had a huge selection of leos there. They held another show in the middle of the year, but I couldn't make it there (it is far away) so I went to a first year show run by my local herpetelogical society. It was horrible, had about 8 vendors, and the rarest phase of leo there was a tremper albino, the rest were normals and high yellows. At least I can look foreward to a larger selection of leos (and probably better deals)for this show, and for all I know, I may come home with my own trio of leos .
