Flourescent lights @ home depot...

philg Nov 10, 2003 08:30 PM

Does anyone know if there is a real big difference between the coil flourescent light bulbs at home depot, and the ones you can buy at a pet store? Is the difference considerable??? I know the ones @ home depot cost much less....

I don't know everything, but it really depends what the lights will be used for. Beardies have special requirements that the bulbs at home depot will not provide. You are probably looking for a cheap alternative to the UVB type, I don't know of any other then the ones sold @ pet stores

So, watch what your getting. 3% is not enough UVB output.

The lights at home depot do not have any UVB.
